The Actions node allows you to trigger your existing, native Photoshop Actions directly from within an ezActions workflow.
This node is the perfect bridge if you already have a library of custom Actions (e.g., complex color grading, frequency separation, or watermark placement) and want to combine them with the batch-processing power of ezActions.
Selecting Your Action
The node automatically reads all the Action Sets currently loaded in your Photoshop workspace.
- Action Set: First, select the folder (Set) that contains your desired Action.
- Action: Next, choose the specific Action you want to run.
- Note: If you create a new Action in Photoshop while ezActions is open, click on the dropdown menus to force the plugin to refresh the list. If you try to run the workflow without selecting an action, it will fail and show an error.
How to connect it
- Input Port (Left): Connect this to a node that ensures an image is open and active (such as the Open Document or Select Layers node).
- Output Port (Right): Connect this to your next processing step or to a Save Document node.
